Breaking Bad Habits

A bad habit loop can develop as we persist in bad habits. Charles Duhigg shows in his book "The Power of Habit" that we must understand our cues, change the routine, and find positive rewards. The good news is that you can change out of destructive habit patterns.

It’s very difficult to simply stop a bad habit. A much better strategy is to change your bad habits. But first you’ll need to interrogate your Cue’s, change the routine, and then find positive rewards. God has given us methods for renewing our minds and walking in integrity.

Living in integrity is difficult work, but it can be done! What are the destructive habits you find yourself in? How can you change patterns and routines to find freedom? The hard work is worth it!
